From compliance audits to performance management, non-compete enforcement, leave and accommodation management, employment litigation, and labor arbitrations, we routinely assist clients (both unionized and non-unionized) in a wide range of labor and employment matters. By educating the employers with which we work, anticipating complications, and assisting with preventative measures, we help employers maintain a flexible and compliant employment operation to avoid lawsuits and the costly civil penalties that come from noncompliance.
We frequently advise employers in matters implicated by Titles VII and IX of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as by state employment laws. Our attorneys have also successfully defended discrimination claims before various courts and administrative agencies, including the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and the United States Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division.
